The Green Boat

The Green Boat is a workplace and property transformation consultancy helping major organisations shape how people, space, and culture connect.

The challenge was a business with multiple interconnected disciplines and no clear framework for how they held together. They had even considered splitting into sub-brands. Instead, I helped them find the structure that was already there: five core pillars that mapped how their work actually operated: Performance, Space, Culture, Place, and Integration. Making that architecture explicit became the strategic foundation the brand was built on.

From there, I developed a modular visual system. Five geometric icons, each mapped to a pillar, designed with a modular logic that allows them to be used alone or in any combination, in any order, with no fixed lockup. The system shuffles and reconfigures, mirroring the fluid, non-linear way The Green Boat works with clients. Animated in motion, it evolves, making the brand's methodology visible rather than described.

A five-colour pillar system creates navigational clarity across every touchpoint, anchored by a deep brand green and soft neutrals. From stationery and environmental wall murals to digital advertising and social media, the system holds together without ever feeling rigid. Flexible by design, not by accident.

A brand that doesn't just describe complexity. It enacts it.
